Reblip those blips
We’ve added a new feature today to Blip: reblipping. I’m sure you’re all like us and have from time to time come across a blip you really liked and wanted to blip it yourself to share it with your listeners. This used to require you to search for the song, preview etc… basically a lot of work and worst of all the DJ who played it never got any cred for it! Well it’s dead easy now to reblip, just click the circular arrow icon (kinda looks like refresh or recycle) in the lower right hand corner of a blip and boom, the song will be preselected. You can of course edit the message to your satisfaction. The reblipped blip will have a text link “(reblip)” after your message that will link back to the original blip.
And just to sweeten the pie, we’ll hook you up with a credit whenever someone reblips one of your blips. You can adjust your notification settings for reblips on your settings page at http://blip.fm/settings So get out there and start reblipping some tracks, it’s easier than ever!

Yan forgot to mention one other addition. If you click on any of the permalinks (from Twitter, or counterintuitively click on the date below the blip text on any blip) you’ll see the last 10 people who also blipped that song, along with what they said. It’s a pretty good way to find more favorite DJs, I’ve been stuck on the site all day.
Now Yan is off skiing, but whatever, he’s responsible for both of these awesome new features so I can’t be too butthurt.
PS: Look out for December because we’re thinking up a super-prop month as a holiday gift from us to you. Details to follow…

Great feature, I will use this loads. Really helps to build community too.
Didn’t know about the ‘date’ function, perhaps that could be better documented?

The “What Other DJ’s Are Saying” feature is a fantastic discovery tool. You should add a “pop-up” [find out what other DJ's feel about this song or whatever] when the finger of fate scrolls over the date line and/or come up with other ways to highlight this cool add.

Would love to be able to order my playlist with an arrow up or simply drag and drop. Either way…I so heart you guys…for this beautiful thing you have done.
